Glass Landscape_discarded glass fragment collected on street, mix media_2010
'Glass Landscape'(2010) features the solid and hard properties of glass. It is made of the glass fragments overlaid on each other; she collected the glass fragments deserted by trophy shops or glass shops around Cheonggye River. Glass is an essential and important material to express our contemporary cities. That the exterior walls of buildings are constructed of the glass penetrated by time is commonplace; the glass walls are no longer new. Hence, any glass work looks after a high-rise building forestry. What is interesting, my glass work advances farther from here. The glass fragments hard, pointed and sharp are reminiscent of quite different properties; we are reminded of an extremely soft and fragile lawn.
